How do I connect to my database from ASP?

SunONE (Java System) ASP includes its own implementation of Active Data Objects (ADO) that provide a powerful, standard interface to popular database management systems. Scripts that use ADO can extract, format, display, add, delete, and update information stored in external databases.

ADO consists of three objects: Connection, Command, and Recordset.The Connection object is used to establish a connection with the database. The Command object is used to execute a database query or stored procedure. The Recordset object holds the results of a query for use by the ASP script.
