Why am I getting 403 errors when submitting a form created by FrontPage ?

If you are getting 403 errors when submitting a form created by FrontPage, there are two things to checkout

First is to make sure that the form is not calling a not-existent file. Usually it is the 404 erros, but with frontpage, we have seen 403 errors happening as well.

Second could be that  hyperlinks are not configured correctly. To configure or recalculate the hyperlinks please follow these instructions

  1. Open FrontPage. Click File and select Open Web
  2. Enter your domain name with www and click Open.
  3. On entering your Username and password, you will be connected to your account.
  4. Once the connection is established click Folders from the left navigation menu. Then highlight the page that has the form. Click Tools and select Recalculate Hyperlinks. Click Yes and the links will be calculated.
If this still don't fix, time to contact your site developers or webmaster. If we are your webmaster, contact the support. You should contact support, even if your webmaster is of no help too.40340
